The FSR406 is a square force-sensitive resistor (FSR) with a large 1.75" × 1.5" active sensing area, designed to measure varying pressure levels. It responds to forces from 0.1N up to 10.02N (approximately 100g–10kg), with resistance decreasing as force increases. When no force is applied, resistance exceeds 1MΩ, ensuring accurate detection. Featuring a rapid response time of under 3 microseconds and a durable peel-and-stick backing for easy mounting, it is ideal for robotics, wearable tech, HMI devices, and interactive projects. The sensor’s 0.1" pitch pins make it breadboard-friendly for quick prototyping and integration.
