The AA204 ICSH044A Blackberry Trackball Breakout Board is a versatile input module that combines a 360° trajectory ball with hall-effect sensors for detecting up, down, left, and right movements. It includes a momentary switch under the trackball for click functionality, with the BTN line pulled low when pressed. Four onboard LEDs (red, green, blue, white) allow customizable lighting effects through the clear trackball. Operating on 2.5–5.25VDC, all features are broken out to a 0.1″ pitch header for easy microcontroller integration. Highly sensitive, the hall sensors register multiple transitions with even slight ball movements, enabling smooth directional input. Ideal for DIY electronics, interactive projects, and adding mouse-like control to embedded systems.
