The DHT22 Temperature and Humidity Module is a reliable and widely used digital sensor designed for accurate environmental data collection. Operating on 3–5V power and drawing a maximum of 2.5mA during data conversion, it provides humidity readings from 0–100% with ±2–5% accuracy and temperature readings from -40°C to 80°C with ±0.5°C accuracy. Using a capacitive humidity sensor and thermistor, it outputs a digital signal via a single data pin, eliminating the need for analog input. With a body size of 27mm x 59mm x 13.5mm, it is compact and easy to integrate into projects. Compatible with Arduino and other microcontrollers, it is ideal for weather stations, HVAC monitoring, and smart home systems. Note: The sensor updates once every 2 seconds, so readings may have a short delay.
