The M6050 (MPU-6050 GY-521) is a 3-axis accelerometer and gyroscope sensor module that delivers precise motion tracking for robotics, gaming, navigation, and wearable devices. Built with a 16-bit AD converter for high-resolution output, it communicates via I2C, offering raw or fused data in multiple formats (rotation matrix, quaternion, or Euler angles). Featuring an onboard Digital Motion Processing™ (DMP™) engine, it handles sensor fusion, timing synchronization, and gesture detection internally, reducing host MCU load. With embedded algorithms for runtime bias and compass calibration plus an integrated digital temperature sensor, this module ensures accurate and stable motion detection for advanced projects.
