The CD74HC4067 High-Speed CMOS 16-Channel Multiplexer/Demultiplexer breakout board is ideal for expanding I/O capabilities in microcontroller projects. Acting like a rotary switch, it connects the common pin (SIG) to any of 16 channel pins (C0–C15) under binary control of four select lines (S0–S3). It supports both analog and digital signals (within 0–VCC range) with low “on” resistance and minimal leakage, ensuring reliable performance. The module includes an enable pin to disconnect all channels, making it perfect for sensor arrays, signal routing, multi-device communication (UART, I2C, SPI), and data acquisition systems.
