The VL53C (VL53L0X V2) Laser Ranging Sensor is a high-precision distance measurement module using a 940nm safe VCSEL laser. Equipped with an in-built 2.8V regulator and I2C interface, it integrates easily with microcontrollers for obstacle detection, gesture recognition, and proximity sensing. Capable of measuring distances up to 2 meters with fast and accurate performance, it effectively prevents optical cross-talk for stable operation. Commonly used in robotics, hand detection systems (driers, dispensers, faucets), gesture-based controls, and smartphone proximity sensing, it also enhances camera autofocus in low light and high-speed conditions.
